Unlike a standard gloss laminate, which has a shiny reflective surface, or a conventional matte laminate, which has a flatter feel, our soft-touch silk matte finish gives your business card a more tactile, premium finish. It also helps reduce reflections across the printed surface, making your branding and contact information easy to view under different lighting.
Prefer a standard finish? No worries. We can substitute standard gloss or matte laminate at no additional cost if that’s what you prefer. They’re less premium finishes than our soft-touch option, but they’re still extremely popular and we’re happy to accommodate.
We offer the two most popular Australian business card sizes:
• 90 × 55mm — the traditional Australian business card size.
• 86 × 54mm — a slightly more compact format.
Both sizes work beautifully for standard business cards, networking cards, contact cards and general business promotion. If you’re replacing an existing business card, check the dimensions before submitting your artwork so you select the correct size when ordering online. Your artwork should be supplied at the finished card size plus bleed.
We recommend allowing 3mm bleed on every edge of your artwork. This gives us enough additional image area beyond the finished trim line to ensure there are no unwanted white edges after the cards are guillotined.
For the cleanest production results, supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed and crop marks. Keep important text, logos and contact details safely inside the finished card area rather than placing them too close to the trim.

Rather than treating every piece of unused material as waste, we actively look for opportunities to reuse suitable media and substrate offcuts. Depending on their size and condition, offcuts can be repurposed for packaging, corner protection and other production purposes. This is something we actively do day-in day-out as a team and are proud of.
Corflute is a recyclable polypropylene (PP) substrate. Unlike composite materials made from multiple bonded materials, corflute is manufactured from polypropylene, a thermoplastic plastic that can be recycled where suitable polypropylene recycling facilities are available. This means that at the end of its useful life, corflute signage can potentially be recovered and recycled rather than automatically becoming landfill waste.
Where our production uses Mimaki LUS-170 UV-curable inks, those inks are GREENGUARD Gold certified by UL LLC, an independent third-party certification relating to chemical emissions.
