What is ‘corflute’ and why is it used so widely as a signwriting substrate?

Corflute is a ultra lightweight and cost effective corrugated plastic board used for printing on via direct flatbed printers (some competitors alternatively will print and apply adhesive vinyl to the corflute board, we choose not to do this as it does not have as seamless as a finish and tends to show signs of ageing faster on the product). Being highly weather resistant is another reason why corflute is such a popular substrate choice for signs, the rigid plastic surface offers great resistance to water and moisture, giving your signs a longer life when used outdoors. Corflute signs are incredibly mobile due to their lightweight construction properties, you can carry piles of these signs with minimal weight and minimal hands, which makes these the ‘go-to’ choice for election time when election signs are needed – pile up and place multiple signs around on the go without a struggle.

Will D2P deliver corflute signage anywhere in Australia?

So long as the location can be accessed via couriers, YES. We offer a nationwide delivery service on all of our products, a flat fee of $9.95 on most parcels is applied to the vast majority of locations with the slight exception of larger / heavier orders and harder to reach locations that postage costs additional. This is an on case basis and in most times obvious, E.G: a palette of 250kg+ Aluminium Composite Panel signage sent out to Ayer’s Rock might work out to be one of these more costly deliveries.

Where are our corflute signs produced?

Great question! And the answer depends on where you are located. Our corflute signs are run in production facilities in Cairns QLD, Brisbane QLD, Sydney NSW, Melbourne VIC & Perth WA so depending on where you are based or where you need your signage delivered to, we will run it out of the nearest production facility to you, ensuring timely turnaround from production through to dispatch and local delivery.

    Cheers josh for the quick turnaround and helping with the design of my corflute yard signs, the corflute is thicker than what I previously had and feels more rigid. Noticed the print is printed into the corflute as well and not vinyl applied and cut to fit which I think looks a lot beter.
